2025 - 2026 Beta Iota Academic year recap 🛡️⚔️

This year, we accomplished a lot and reached big milestones with the active house we were able to complete, won awards, and were recognized at the National, Regional, and School levels.

We want to recognize and congratulate Luciano Rico, Jonathan Reyes, & Alexander Diaz for graduating and leaving a legacy behind. We hope to make you guys proud, and with your guidance, we will overperform this upcoming year.

Can’t wait for the Academic year 2026-2027 that has in store for us.

Happy Knightaversaries to our line that revived us the first time Mu Line PRESTIGE, celebrating 4 years since they crossed. Crazy how much they have done to the fraternity and left an impactful legacy behind. Thank you gentlemen for everything you have done during your time here 🛡️😅

April Recap: Beta Iota chapter was busy this whole month, kicking off the month with the Regional Conference, then collaborating with Latino Unidos with a Migra Watch Training, soon after prepping for Charter week with our second annual BBQ, and finally, to end the month, releasing our newest line, Sigma Line: S.T.R.1.K.E 😤🛡️

Let’s welcome our newest member of Spring 2026 🛡️⚔️

Today is the day due to meet Sigma Line STRIKE: due to potential rain showers between 6 PM - 7:30 PM we will move the presentation till 7:45 please meet us at UH Lawn by Douglas hall thank you for your patience and understanding.

Today we want to celebrate our Pi Line CREED on its first knightaversary since crossing. We also want to recognize their hard work this year and see what else they bring to the table. 🛡️

Omega Delta Phi Beta Iota Chapter is announcing our Sigma Line: STRIKE probate happening Thursday April 30th at 7:30 at UH lawn. 🛡️

Knights traveled around the world (literally) during this past semester. A couple of our brothers took on various trips to explore the world, pursue study abroad opportunities, volunteer, and more. From Mississippi to Michigan and from Brazil to the UK, all of them were able to explore the area and learn something new along the way. 🛡️

We didn’t forget Almost Phriday btw, but it’s the Spring 22’ Mu Line PRESTIGE, it’s almost like yesterday they were running the chapter at one point 🔥🥲

We wanna thank LARES for letting us volunteer and participate in their annual Dia De Familia event, where we welcomed potential incoming UIC students and guided them about our history here at UIC. 💥🔥

Knight of the Month ⚔️🔥

This month, we recognize David Carrera “Sir Pocho” for consistently showing what it means to represent Beta Iota with pride, dedication, and authenticity.

David stands out not just for his presence, but for the way he carries himself in every space. Whether it’s on campus, with the brotherhood, or in the community. He brings good vibes, stays solid with his brothers, and never hesitates to step up when it matters.

Almost Phriday 🛡️

School is almost over, it’s Xi Line 3 year Knighaversary, just won Fraternity of the Year, and Jose is still napping.

Today we want to celebrate Jonathan Reyes Sir Wepa, his third year Knightaversary ❤️🛡️

Becoming the 3rd solo of the chapter, Jonathan has worked very hard and contributed so much during his time at Beta Iota. Congrats on this milestone, brother, and we hope to see you do more. 🛡️
